I am interested in circadian intercellular communication in the SCN and peripheral tissues. Specialty is bioluminescence and fluorescence imaging/monitoring of rhythmic molecules in the SCN neurons and peripheral tissues.

Dominic Landgraf, Ph.D.

The focus of my research is the connection between circadian clocks and mood regulation. The main objective of my project is to investigate the direction of causality between disturbed circadian rhythms and mood disorders like major depressive disorder (MDD) and bipolar disorder (BD).
Another project investigates the capability of NPAS2 to compensate for the loss of CLOCK protein in peripheral organs of Clock-KO mice.
